Lyrsemble

Privacy Policy

Effective July 19, 2026 · last updated July 19, 2026

The short version: Lyrsemble helps you turn your songs into lyric videos and publish them to your YouTube channel. To do that we store your account, the media you upload, the videos we generate, and the YouTube analytics we fetch for you. We only ever act on your channel when you tell us to. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your Google/YouTube data for anything except providing the features you use. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Our standing pledge: we will never sell anyone's information. Not your details, not your songs, not your audience. This is not a policy we intend to revisit — if it ever changed, it would have to be announced here in advance, and you would be free to take your catalogue and go.

Who we are. Lyrsemble ("Lyrsemble", "we", "us") is a hosted music-video service operated by Bruijita LLC, a Texas limited liability company (USA). Contact: quentinjs@gmail.com. This policy covers the hosted service at lyrsemble.com. (Earlier versions of Lyrsemble ran entirely on your own computer; the hosted service described here is what this policy governs.)

1. Information we collect

a. Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address (via Google Sign-In or a magic-link email), your chosen public profile handle (lyrsemble.com/profiles/<handle>), and a display name. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details — we never see or store your full card number.

b. Content you provide

The audio, cover art, lyrics, and titles/descriptions you upload or enter, and the videos and images Lyrsemble generates from them on your behalf. This is your creative content; see section 2 of the Terms — you keep ownership.

c. Connected-platform data (Google / YouTube and others)

When you connect a platform, we store the access credentials that platform issues (encrypted — see section 5) and the data needed to run the features you asked for. For YouTube specifically we request only these scopes:

ScopeWhy
youtube.force-sslTo upload your rendered videos to your channel and set their title, description, and privacy — only when you press Publish.
yt-analytics.readonlyTo read view, watch-time and audience-retention figures for your own videos, so we can show you performance and suggest improvements.

Optional connections you may add have their own minimal scopes: Gmail (read-only, to detect distribution/royalty emails you forward), and share connectors for Bluesky, Discord, Telegram, Mastodon, Facebook, X and Threads (to post an announcement you compose). You choose which, if any, to connect.

Google API Limited Use disclosure. Lyrsemble's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google/YouTube data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features described above; we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security or to comply with law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized. We do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service (see section 3) or as required by law.

d. Usage and diagnostic data

Basic operational logs (actions taken, errors, job timing) so the service works and we can diagnose problems. If an error occurs we may capture technical details of what failed.

On this website we load no analytics script and set no cookies — there is no third-party advertising or web-analytics tracker on lyrsemble.com, which is why you have never been asked to dismiss a consent banner here. We measure traffic entirely at the server: our host records the ordinary request information every web server sees (which page was requested, when, the referring page, an approximate country, and browser type). We use it only to understand which pages are useful. It is not tied to a profile of you, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

One honest detail: the scrolling artwork on our home page shows real cover images hosted by YouTube (i.ytimg.com), so your browser fetches those pictures from Google and Google can see that request — exactly as it would on any page with a YouTube video embedded. It sets no cookie for us and tells us nothing about you, but we would rather say so than let "no trackers" imply more than it should. We intend to serve those images from our own domain so that request disappears too.

Inside the app, performance analytics are opt-in: they are off unless you turn them on, and you can switch them off again at any time in Settings.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your connected-platform data for advertising or for training third-party AI models beyond what is needed to produce the specific output you requested.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We share data only with the providers that make the service work, each only with what their function requires:

ProviderPurposeData involved
Google (YouTube Data & Analytics API)Publish your videos; read your analyticsYour YouTube credentials & the videos/metadata you publish
CloudflareHosting, content delivery, and encrypted media/backup storage (R2)Your account data and media library
fal.aiAI generation of cover art and video clips you requestThe prompt/inputs for the asset and the generated output
OpenAI (optional)Optional AI writing of titles/descriptions and growth insights, when enabledThe song metadata used to generate the text
StripePayment processing (paid plans)Your payment details, handled by Stripe directly

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or our users, or in connection with a business transfer, with notice where required.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data and content while your account is active. If you delete an item, it is removed from the live service; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our backup-rotation cycle (currently within 90 days). When you close your account, we delete your content and disconnect your platform credentials within 90 days (and may be sooner on some plans), except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

5. Security

Connected-platform credentials (including your YouTube OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest and isolated per account, so one account can never access another's connections. We use reputable infrastructure providers, encrypt data in transit, and keep rolling backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of a material breach as required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

7. Age

Lyrsemble accounts are for adults 18 or older — creating one requires a payment method. Lyrsemble is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. What a parent or guardian chooses to do with their own account is up to them.

8. International users

The service is operated from the United States and data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
